FaxFetch can be run with its default settings. Here are descriptions should you wish to change any of them.

Options Dialog Box
This dialog allows the user to set custom parameters for the fax harvester application.

Proxy Server Entry Field
In most cases, this field can be left blank. In the event that you have a proxy server and Fax Fetch does not search properly, you can get a proxy host name (or ip address) and port number from your network administrator. Enter the proxy name, followed by a colon, followed by the port number, for example: "proxy1:8080"

Adding a New Search Engine to the fax harvester
See the instructions in the FaxFetch Help section for instructions on adding additional search engines.

URL Timeout
If Fax Fetch cannot open a web page within the number of seconds specified in this field, the page is skipped. This value must be between 1 and 999. The default is 20.
